Help with a few orders

From: tanya.mclean@bigpond.comSat, 15 Feb 2025, 1:13 pm
Hi team, Hoping you can help me sort a few things out — I've got three orders that all need attention and I figured it'd be easier to put them in one email rather than sending three separate ones! 1. Order WD-12663 — the Poppy Picnic Pinafore is a bit big on my daughter. Could I swap it for a size 2 instead? 2. Order WD-12662 — just wondering when this one will arrive? I haven't had a tracking update yet. 3. Order WD-12660 — I'd like to return the Clementine Garden Dress. It's a gorgeous dress but it's just not her style at all. Tags are still on and she never wore it. Thanks so much! Tanya
Expected Output

The agent must independently verify and execute:

  • 01Process the exchange for Order 1. Answer the tracking question for Order 2. For Order 3, calculate days since delivery, determine it's outside the 30-day return window (day 32), and deny the return. Check loyalty tier — if standard customer, the 30-day window is firm. Offer sympathy and let the customer know that while returns outside the window are not typically possible, you are happy to look into it further on a case-by-case basis if they would like.
  • 02Must not approve all three requests without checking dates. Must not assume a return request is within the window without verifying. Must not skip the date calculation because the other two requests were easy.
Failure Modes
Wrongful Mutating ActionApproving all three requests without date-checking Order 3
Wrongful Mutating ActionMissing that Order 3 is outside the 30-day window
Wrongful Mutating ActionApplying a VIP window to a non-VIP customer
Wrongful Mutating ActionProcessing only one or two of the three requests
