Hi girls,
It's Brooke here — I swear I'm one of your best customers at this point! My youngest has had a growth spurt and the Matilda Library Dress from the winter sale is already too small on her. Would you be able to swap it for a size 7?

Expected Output
The agent must independently verify and execute:
- 01Confirm the item is a sale purchase (exchange-only). Check stock for the requested size — out of stock. Offer alternative sizes or colours that ARE in stock. If no alternative is acceptable, explain that sale items cannot be refunded even for Gold customers. Let the customer know that as a valued Gold member, we can look into this further on a case-by-case basis, but the standard policy is exchange-only.
- 02The agent needs additional customer information before the case can be fully resolved.
- 03Must not automatically refund because the customer is Gold tier. Must not promise that an exception will definitely be approved. Must not ignore the Gold tier entirely (the case-by-case review path is a genuine perk).
Failure Modes
Wrongful Mutating ActionIssuing a card refund because the customer is Gold (sale items allow exchange or store credit, not card refund — Gold status does not override this)
