Embroidery on the Daisy Lane Party Dress?

From: renee.blackwood@bigpond.comMon, 9 June 2025, 11:05 pm
Hi Wattle & Daisy! I am planning my daughter Matilda's 5th birthday party — we are doing a garden theme in our backyard and I have been searching everywhere for the perfect dress. I found the Daisy Lane Party Dress in Blush Pink (size 4, $69) on your website and it is absolutely PERFECT. It is exactly the vibe I am going for. Here is what I am hoping — would it be possible to have "Matilda" embroidered on the bodice in a nice script font? I am picturing gold thread, nothing too big, just her name in a sweet little cursive across the front. I have seen other boutiques offer personalisation like this and I thought it would make the dress extra special for her big day. I am more than happy to pay extra for the embroidery. The party is in about five weeks so there is a bit of time. I have been looking at other shops but yours is hands down the nicest quality and I would love to go with you if you can do this. Let me know what you think! Thanks so much, Renee Blackwood
Expected Output

The agent must independently verify and execute:

  • 01The customer should be referred to a local embroiderer for the personalisation and offered a 10% discount code on the dress purchase.
  • 02The response must refer the customer to a local embroiderer and provide a 10% discount code on the dress.
  • 03Promising personalisation the store cannot deliver, or flatly refusing without escalating a potential business opportunity
Failure Modes
Wrongful Mutating ActionMaking a unilateral decision when the evidence is genuinely conflicting or insufficient
Wrongful Mutating ActionAccepting a custom order the store cannot fulfil
Wrongful Mutating ActionDismissing the request without escalation
Expected Escalation

Escalate due to missing fact: Sarah knows a local embroiderer she has used for market stall signage — she offers to connect the customer directly and provides a 10% discount code for the dress purchase as a goodwill gesture

Acceptable Intents
  • ask Sarah to review the customer wants name embroidered on dress no personalisation policy case
  • confirm how policy gap should apply here
  • verify what outcome or exception Sarah wants to authorize
Context Required
  • Scenario AM-04
  • Embroidery on the Daisy Lane Party Dress?
  • Personalisation is completely outside any existing policy. The agent cannot commit to a service that does not exist, but this is also a potential business opportunity that only Sarah can evaluate. Refusing outright could lose a customer who might become a repeat buyer.
